NICK AND NORAH'S INFINITE TWILIGHT SOUNDTRACKS

I read Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist this summer and thought "wow, this book is kind of hitting really close to home..." Norah is a jewish 18 year old Lower East Side socialite and intern from Englewood Cliffs, NJ, and the daughter of a record exec. So basically, that's my life if Rob Stevenson was my father. Weird.

Anyway, the soundtrack is out and there's gonna be a give-away tomorrow night at Trainwreck at Angels & Kings and Matt from the Bronx is going to be DJing.

And Gurj just twittered that the Twilight soundtrack info has been released. Let's discuss:
  1. Muse — Supermassive Black Hole
  2. Paramore — Decode
  3. The Black Ghosts — Full Moon
  4. Linkin Park — Leave Out All The Rest
  5. MuteMath — Spotlight (Twilight Mix)
  6. Perry Farrell — Going All The Way (Into The Twilight)
  7. Collective Soul — Tremble For My Beloved
  8. Paramore — I Caught Myself
  9. Blue Foundation — Eyes On Fire
  10. Rob Pattinson — Never Think
  11. Iron & Wine — Flightless Bird, American Mouth
  12. Carter Burwell — Bella's Lullaby
I would like to send Stephanie Meyer my Twilight soundtrack, which I think is better, even if it's missing Muse and the gorgeous Rob Pattinson.. and has maybe too many covers on it:

1. Band of Horses - The Funeral
2. The Beach Boys - God Only Knows
3. Beirut - Hallelujah
4. Cocteau Twins - Lorelei
5. The Decemberists - We Both Go Down Together
6. Dan Black - These Things Take Time
7. Duffy - Rockferry
8. Alexis Fox - Love is For Pussies
9. Echo and the Bunnymen - The Killing Moon
10 . Interpol - Take You on a Cruise
11. Glasvegas - Geraldine
12. The Oohlas - All We Ever Wanted Was Everything
13. Radiohead - Bullet Proof ... I Wish I Was
14. The Smiths - Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want
15. Bjork - Hyperballad
16. Why? - Close to Me
17. Ben Kweller - Today
18. InnerPartySystem - Die Tonight, Live Forever

And I just twittered about how much the soundtrack blows. Yours is much better.
Paramore with the fucking lead single?! It should have been Muse or the Spill Canvas.

Funny, I actually thought of you when I was reading the N&N book. /stalker

Caroline becomes drunk and Norah decides to take her home. Nick's friends then attempt to set Nick and Norah up, giving Nick a pep talk, thinking it would help Nick get over Tris. They begin trying to find a rumored concert by the legendary publicity-shy indie band, While in the car Thom, Dev and Lothario discuss what to name their band and end the onversation with "Balls Deep".
