LILY ALLEN'S NEW VIDEO FOR "THE FEAR"

The song is fantastic. The video is adorable and looks like it cost a bagillion dollars to make (how much do you think it costs to rent Versailles Palace?).

It's makes me think of this song called "The Fear" by Pulp:

I actually find myself singing the Pulp version far too often:
This is the sound of someone losing the plot -
making out that they're okay when they're not.
You're gonna like it, but not a lot & the chorus goes like this:
Oh Baby, here comes the fear again.
The end is near again.
If you ever get that chimp off your back.
If you ever find the thing that you lack
but you know you're only having a laugh
& here we go again.
Until the end

Yeah... but I can see myself singing this line from Lily's version to myself a few times in the future:
I don’t know what’s right and what’s real anymore
I don’t know how I’m meant to feel anymore
When we think it will all become clear
‘Cuz I’m being taken over by The Fear

thats a bit weird, I clicked to read the article, liked the video so much, decided to write about it too. I didn't scroll down yours though, and then went back to save your URL, and realised, you'd pretty much written the exact same thing I had, except better.

It's good.
However, musically I feel that I'm missing that glittery raw grit that the first album had.

Granted it's only ONE song; it's still a clue to how the rest of the album might sound.

Interestingly enough... the lyrics still seem like old Lily Allen.

I'm assuming her people hired different producers.

god. jarvis is probably the most beautiful human ive ever seen.

and i think they shiny plastic sound on the lily allen track is intentional because of the subject matter.

We should ask Sophia Copolla about the price?

to mention lily allen in the same sentence as pulp is a travesty and should be illegal.
