Holy Smokes!

1350 for a bedroom! Not even for the whole apartment??? I swear times have changed. When I lived in the LES about 13 years ago, I was paying 500 for a huge 3-bedroom apartment. Damn!

1350! I'm stunned! :)

i agree man --too many people i know have completely gotten sucked into thinking that they need to pay a fortune for an apt in nyc. wtf? it kills me to pay the $700 i pay for my bedroom in willyb. then when i go away on vacation all i hear is whining from my friends who live in manhattan and pay retarded amounts of money for their pretty crappy apts because they can never afford to take a vacation. i'd rather go on a cruise. plus manhattan is pretty busted these days.

Sarah, I was just curious if your are a fan of The Faint. I guess this doesn't really have shit to do with helping your friend Adam find a roommate. Based on the bands that you really like I would imagine you are already a fan. If not, defiantly check them out.

i love the faint. their show at irving plaza about a year and a half ago was one of the best shows i've ever been to. i just had so much fun dancing around and was in awe of the visuals... i can't wait to see them again.

I danced my ass at that show.

Sarah, if I am not mistaken, I believe that was the show where I threatened to stab you in the heart or some such drunken nonsense.

Ring any bells?

I figured you would have to be a fan of The Faint, there new one came out today but I haven't gotten a chance to hear any of it yet. There playing over her in my neck of the woods (Chicago) coming up at the beginning of next month with TV on the Radio.
Anyways my name is Bryan, I just ran into your site from Brian Battjer’s site, Ikeepadiary (which a friend brought to my attention and has became an addiction). I enjoy checking out all these bands you mention that I've never heard of. Good luck with the Prohibition, sounds horrible.
