MY LOVE WILL TURN YOU ON
I'm sitting here listening to John Lennon and I was just wondering, was Yoko Ono so bad? I mean, sure, people blame her for breaking up the Beatles, but maybe they were at that point anyway and she was the catalyst for the event. What she and John did post Beatles is pretty fucking good, if you ask me. I love the Beatles. When I was in middle school the only albums I'd listen to were by REM and the Beatles... but there's something about Lennon's songwriting post-Beatles that is far more personal and more relatable.
Apparently i'm 17 today and just realizing this. Please excuse my lameness.
