There was some MTV show about people obsessed with their pets and the girl had her poodle dyed hot pink. It didn't look like fun for the dog AT ALL, but I don't think it really hurts them, and damn if it didn't look cute afterwards (even though I think poodles are kind of ugly to begin with).

Before going on about poodles, sarah (and the rest of you faithful bloggers) how can you not stop to think, reflect, and blog about how fucking awesome, and when i say awesome, i mean totally fucking sweet, the cure show was this weekend?
-one hundred years?
-a forest?
-fascination street?
was this not fucking unreal!!??

I'm gonna write about that later today when i get a chance. the cure sounded amazing. i wish i was closer so i could feel blanketed in their melodious glory.

Interpol were absolutely spot on and fantastic and they did a great job with the new songs.

but i gotta say that muse put on SUCH AN AMAZING SHOW that night. holy shit. i was just blown away and totally dripping sweat by the end from dancing so much and bouncing up and down. i wanted to be hurled into the middle of the pit and crowd surf. it was like i was 15 again. "butterflies and hurricanes" is retarded live.

at the after party matt muse introduced me to robert smith and i nealy had a heartattack. he was really insanely nice.

manic panic never hurt anyone, did it?

the color choice is a bit cruel.

they look like lemon/lime sno cones.

I once dyed my dog with beat juice. It was really cruel whatsoever. She kept licking herself and I got to eat a lot of beats.

Beat juice?

Is that the juice that comes from the vegetable known as a beet -- or is that the juice that comes from when you, uh, beat yourself?

Wow, Curiosa sounds like it was amazing + you got to meet Robert Smith!!!! Please, do tell us - who are far way and devoid of such a chance - about it.

you can read about it in the october issue of SPIN. :)

i will say this -- he was nicer than you could imagine.

Sarah I'm waiting for a blog of the Curiosa festival! Please post about it soon. Also, I read on Muse's website that they are coming back to do more touring in Sept/Oct but there isn't any specific dates or places yet. If you find out anything about it please tell!
