You're probably fucking sick of hearing from me about Stolen Transmission by this point -- between these news letters, blog posts, myspace messages -- but I don't really care to be honest. How about that? I'm dancing around my office and singing along to the oohlas, spraypainting on the walls, and drinking too many redbulls. And tonight there's gonna be free Zygo Vodka at 1am at the Stolen Transmission Party (152 Orchard st. btw Rivington and Stanton in NYC). It's one of those days...
Anyway, I love you a lot. So love me back. Buy my records please. They’re really good. Thank you.
I love you.

I OFFER YOU SURVIVAL

First off:

I was watching TV last night with Brandon... probably the Flavor of Love since that's basically the only TV show i like watching that isn't LOST, and I saw a commercial for a movie I had no real intention of watching, Marie Antoinette. I was kinda half-assed watching it and was already giving it more attention than normal because I like seeing Kirsten Dunst in period clothing (not sweat pants and baggy shirts... the old time shit)... but the sound was on and half (to a whole bottle) of wine into my night+3:30am= a slightly reminiscent me... people, the song used for the commercial was New Order's "Ceremony"... CEREMONY! It worked perfectly. It wasn't corney or cheesey, and just made me feel like I was living in my own personal old times when all i cared about was dancing to Joy Division and New Order at 3 in the morning.

Watch the two versions i found on youtube:

There's also one with the Cure:

And i think this one is with M83, but i'm not sure:

So anyone watching TV right now probably knows that a plane or helicopter crashed into a building on the Upper East Side of NYC... I think it's a total accident, and just totally unfortunate. UNBELIEVABLY, FOX NEWS IS SAYING THAT THE PITCHER OF THE YANKEES COREY LYDELL, WAS PILOTING THE PLANE! While discussing this with my Buddy named Productshop, he sent me something he found on gothamist:
ProductShopNYC (4:17:52 PM): Via the Gothamist comment section: "10-11-06. Read that date upside down."......

wahhh wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

YOU JUST HAVENT EARNED IT YET, BABY

So I kind of have this rule of thumb that applies to just myself: I dont go out to bars around/above 14th street. Why? Because they dont let me in without an issue. I'm stared down by the security guards who often look through me, above me, under me... never at me. Never with a smile. Never. Lastnight I was booked to DJ at Manor, and there was a line down the block for the Killers CD release party... and when I got to the door, the girl with the list recognized me and was awesome and was trying to let me in when the bouncer gave me a hard time. "I'm here to DJ... really... i know i look like a scumbag, but really, i'm djing."
"Oh yeah," he replied, "then where are your cds?"
"In my bag. See?"
"Well, I can't see them in there..."
"Can I please come in?"

I wanted to tell him to hurry up so i could catch neck tattoo guy from project runway... whom I made eyecontact with and was gonna approach with a "Hey! how are you?" before i remembered that I dont actually know him.

Once I got in, the crowd was gorgeous and pretty rock and roll. I held tight to my entourage of Brandon, Brian Battjer, and Gurj as we approached the massive dude standing infront of the VIP section that was also where the DJ is positioned (I kinda like that idea cause it lessens the chances of people coming up to the dj booth to request michael jackson every ten seconds). So anyway, i get to this dude and he wont let me in.
"I'm djing."
"No."
"really, i am. i'm the dj."
"you can't come in."
"but..."
(girl from the side)"Hey, she's the dj."
(me to girl) "Thank you so much!"
(security) "Get in."
(me to guard) "These people are with me." (i point to brandon, gurj and brian and start to walk in).
Brandon gets stopped.
"That's my boyfriend. You have to let him in."
"No dudes."
"Well, if you dont let him in, I'm not going to DJ. So please let him in."
Brandon gets let in.

(photo by Merlin Bronques. More photos here.)

I get on the decks to start DJing and the set up is amazing and the crowd is dancing and stoked out of their face standing on banquets and cheer when I play Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up"... And then I decide to play my favorite hip hop song "What You Know About That" by TI. People cheer and get stoked... A woman comes up to me and says "Um... I run this place... and I dont know if you realize that this is a KILLERS album release party. The band is on their way and they dont want hip hop."
"Oh, that's funny... cause I was just with them... and they're now in LA."

After my set I headed over to 151 Rivington with Gurj to meet up with Brandon and a couple of friends who were in from out of town. I was sitting with them, drinking water, when i got an AIM on my 'kick from Jenny Penny telling me that Bono was at Black & White -- Rob Hitt's night -- and that Kate Bosworth was at the Hail party at the darkroom. So we all loaded up, after I sat there persuading every that it was a good idea, and went to black and white. We saw bono. He was in the back of the room, sitting in the booth closest to the bathroom with a few friends. He looked like he was having a great time. After my first drink I peaced out and went back home to watch some TV with the man.

Holy shit... I'm in Vanity Fair. I'm not a God freak... i'm just into being a jew.

THE FIRST IS THE WORST

Here are some things i'm promoting, and then after that is a blog post:

So yesterday was Yom Kippur, the Jewish holiday for atonment. And i thought, "hmm... there are quite a things I should be atoning for... my grammar, poor spelling, not making my parents happy with my life choices, but the thing i want to antone for the most," i thought, while sitting next to my mom in a pew, "is the way that i've misguided the readers of my blog onto some really bad music." Now, I don't really need to pull out examples, you can pretty much guess which bands I'm talking about if you've read this blog for like, the past 2 years. None of those bands are on my label, or bands that belong to a boyfriend, or bands that i claim to be the second coming of a bleach blonde rocker... Not sure if that leaves you any hints or clues or whatever. But rest assured, while I was sitting there, fasting for what turned into 26 hours, I made a vow to stop listening to shitty music. I went sober for like 2 months 2 years ago and that really just fucked everything up. I started listening to really shitty shit and talking about that really shitty shit and now i'm through. I'm done. I'm drunk. I'm not sober. I'm stumbling in the streets while quoting the Walkmen, and i'm happy.

YOU HAVE ONE WEEK!

Brush up on your LOST stuff!
SOOO.... ?

Who got the oohlas CD? What are your thoughts? By the way, you can only post your thoughts if you've actually listened to the album.

Also, did anyone go to the show/release party? I couldn't go because this is the jewish holiday week and the commute wouldn't have worked out.

Check out The Oohlas on SPIN.com. W00T W00T!
AM I WRONG OR AM I RIGHT

Ugh! Ugh! Motherfucking ahhhhh!!!!!! So about a week or two ago, Rob told me that he'd give me a watermarked copy of the Killers record and included with his offer a one way ticket to unemployment if I gave the record to anyone else. Knowing my own personal enthusiasm for this band and my animalistic need to spread the word on them (since day one), I turned down the offer. I knew that the second i got home i'd give a copy to Brandon, Gurj, Karen, Lawrence...

But then Brandon aimed me yesterday and said that album leaked and the link was on stereogum, so naturally, i immediately downloaded it. Up until this point, I only got to hear the album at the mercy of others... usually Rob as he blasted it from his office.

My favorite track on the album, since day one, was "Bling". I used to walk around singing the words to myself after hearing them at work. When Island had the listening party, Brandon managed to remember the song well enough to play some of it for me at home whenever he wanted to see me glow with happiness.

"Bling (confession of a king)" is absolutely my favorite song on the album, if not one of my favorite songs of the year. In my head I figured the song was like an explination or testiment to his family (specifically his older brother) about how hard it is to find a balance with fame/success and the way he was raised and how his flirtation with the darkside is what made him rich.

"so i ran with the devil/left a trail of excuses" - I guess i can identify with this line the most... sometimes i feel like i run with the devil and use my career as an excuse for my lifestyle that i know might be quite inappropriate... I'm not sure how religious BF's upbringing was, but personally, i'm terribly conflicted.

"when i offer you survival/you say it's hard enough to live" - is a line i see as him saying that he offered to support his family financially. Lord knows that now he can... but maybe they see it as taking dirty money?

But quite possibly the most meaningful line in all of Brandon's lyrical history is:
"How do you know that you're right, when you're not nervous anymore." - Just think about that line for a second. I'm not sure if it was a fluke, or what, but it's probably one of the more introspective concepts I've encountered in a lyric. Just think about it... If a decision comes to easy for you, it means that you've got no options to battle it against. You can't be 100% certain that something is right unless there's another something that could also be right... you need to internally process which "thing" is better. It's totally some chinese-meditation shit that brian battjer was explaining to me about the concept of choices. Anyway, when you make a choise about something, it almost doesnt matter unless you think about that choice and have conflicts about it internally... ANYWAY, that is what this line is about... to me at least.

OK, so i just wrote a thesis on the lyrics of a song, and I could be totally off or totally rambling because I didnt have enough sugar in my body today.

Last night Karen and I went to MTV studios to see the Killers do the "Live Leak". We had missed their secret show cause it was on Rosh Hashanna. They filmed the show in the studio where they do TRL and decorated the place to look carnival-like, probably like Sam's Town, and there were about 50 people there. At one point Karen turned to me and said "remember when we said that irving plaza would be the smallest place we'd ever see them play again? i think this tops that." We stood in the back with Brandon and Ronnie's wives, but that didn't stop us from heckling out "we love the killers!!!" and dancing and bopping around like it was 2003. In reaction to my yelps of "KILLERS!!!!" Brandon's wife, Tana, kept on yelling out "MONKEY!!!!" That dog has more fans than anyone i know!

Anyway, they played a bunch of songs from the new album ("when you were young", "my list", "bones"...) as well as some old ones ("all these things i've done" and "somebody told me" i think). When they did "Bones" for a second time "for crowd shots" according to mtv's producers, i took that time to run to the bathroom and then run over to the greenroom to tell Rob that the dudes from Laguna Beach were there. As i was standing there, i heard Brandon say "this next song is bling" on the monitor, and then i heard a faint, yet quite loud scream of "i love that song!!!!" and knew immediately that it was karen. So I ran back into the studio and she said "did you hear me scream?!" Hahah. Obviously brandonf did as well, and got stoked out.

I'm so happy that another Killers record is coming out... I feel like it's gonna be the elixor to the energy slump i've been feeling lately.

So tomorrow we've got a killer Stolen Transmission (no pun intended). It was meant to be the after party for the secret show the Killers were having (that i was to be djing), but then that got moved to webster hall, so we're making it a pre-party for their SNL appearance. The band's been good about coming to ST every week whenever they're in town, so it's only natural for us to throw them a party. Imarobot will be performing as well as this great new band that i LOVE called Tall Hands (think Lou Reed meets John Lennon). There will also be free zygo vodka at somepoint. You guys should come. It's also the birthday party for Jessica Are I... and she's rad!

Hey, did anyone see the Oohlas show last night? I heard it was fucking sick.
I LOVE THIS!!!!

PINK IS THE NEW AWESOME

Like I mentioned before, PinkIsTheNewBlog.com will be hosting the Oohlas album release party because well, Trent and The Oohlas are in love and they're gonna have crazy looking babies that are kinda asian-ish like Suri Cruise. If you want to be on the guest list for this (because it WILL be packed and soldout), then email me sarah@stolentranmission.com and put "oohlas cd release show party guestlist" in the subject line. This is in LA.

Bright Light Fever and their manager Shawn Carrano, went up to the woods for a little R&R... and conducted a little pug porno.

Here is Norman, the flight commander, landing in for a rendezvous.

And he meets up with Little Lucy... she comes off a bit strong:

But, you know, they just get down anyway:

NEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP

OK, so last night Karen and I are djing at Stolen Transmission, and it's quite slow because it's fashion week, so the bartender announces last call at 3am, and no less than ten minutes later about 50 models showed up and kept on multiplying. It was kind of hilarious.

I was also sobering up from the Annuals show at Sin-e where i managed to get incredibly drunk and nearly knocked over by a bunch of super stoked huggers. I love Annuals! Way to go Speck!

I like the Strokes. Don't love them. I always felt, in my head, that there was a strokes vs interpol thing going on like there was a blur vs oasis thing or a smiths vs cure thing... so i was like "eff that ess i'm sticking with interpol" and have stayed true ever since. But then i have this intern jordana and she turned me onto their most recent record (the first record is amazing, i will say that... i'm just more of an interpol fan). jordana is the biggest strokes fan to walk this earth. she came to work the other day and played me the albert hammond jr. stuff and damn if it isn't great. sounds a bit like the strokes meets wilco.

So just wanted to mention that my buddy Trent and his blog, pinkisthenewblog.com, will be hosting the Oohlas record release party/show at Cinespace on September 26. He's the band's number one fan (after me), and they are huge fans of his blog, so the pairing is perfect. And everyone knows that that's Steve Aoki's night... and well, you can pretty much be sure it will be quite the fun scene.

Ampcamp is also doing the Oohlas presale. The record is inexpensive and i think there's gonna be some sort of special thing given to the first 50 orders. If you're not sure if you want to buy the oohlas album, check out this review in the october issue of blender! i started tearing up when i came across it while on the subway:

THE DEVIL INSIDE

OK, I know i said i would try to make this less about Monkey Monkey Monkey, and include bella in things, but my camera is presently out of commission, so i'm stuck posting whatever photos people send me of my pets. Nobody takes pictures of Bella. She's awesome, even for a plus-sized model cat, but fuck does she like to eat. She likes to eat and wake me up in the morning by stepping on my boobs and licking my neck, which is so fucking creepy i can't even get into it. The plus side is that she and Monkey get along so well and it's the cutest thing in the world to see the two of them play all the time. From the moment I wake up (to feed bella) to the moment I go to sleep (after i feed bella), they're head butting, wrestling, tail biting, chasing after each other... it's so cute.

Anyway, Brandon took Monkey to the dog park last week and there was a Kibbles N Bits thing set up where you could dress your animal up and take a photo with it. I think Leigh Lezark (who was there with her dog edie) managed to talk him into it, though, i'm not certain. Anyway, here's a photo of Monkey dressed up as a Devil, and Brandon dressed up as someone who hasn't seen the sun in many days:

I SUPPORT THESE SHIRTS

I've always loved the "I SUPPORT SAME SEX MARRIAGE" shirt that Brandon wears and was delighted to find out that it was a company that his brother Travis and girlfriend Tara started. NO HELL HERE

Karen and I are skipping all the VMA after parties and throwing our own shindig celebrating our friend Mandy Tannen from Stellastarr*s birthday. She'll also be djing and there will be free zygo at 1am until we're out. We're making this a refuge for all our band friends that can't stand the corporate parties, so dont be surprised if you may see some taking back chemical killer boys.

OH EM GEE

I'm watching Fuse right now and a photo just popped up on the screen while some really awful emo band was playing whose name i forgot immediately after finding them on myspace. i pictured the discussion for this photo going as follows:

photographer: i'm thinking... five dudes... in front of a wall.
label/management: oh! and add shrubs! cause, you know, they'll be dressed in all black.
photographer: GENIUS! That'll make it look organic and since they're wearing make up, it'll make them look LESS like aiden.
label/management: totally. i think we should use just solid black makeup instead of red... what do you think?
photographer: oh totally... i'm totally best friends with a makeup artist that can do that.
label/management: ok. lets do it. i can't wait to see this in a fuse ad.

tell me the singer doesnt look like the singer of Monty Are I if he got gang raped by aiden? i'm guessing he's the singer. he's in the middle.

my apologies in advance if this photo was taken by justin bourecki, cause i think you're cool.

I'VE BEEN DOWN SO LONG IT LOOKS LIKE UP TO ME

Lastnight I went home for what was intended to be a chill night at home followed by a bar hop or two. Instead, my apartment turned into a rager that had the slight potential to turn into one of my Girls Gone Wild DVDs.

First off, all I wanted to do was dye my hair purple before we went out or before anyone showed up, but about 10 minutes after I walked into the door, the buzzer rang and it was Alex Shenitsky and Joe from FOB. We hung out for a bit and were soon joined by Joe McCaffrey and his girlfriend Jenne as well as Alex's wife and Gurj's arrival home. Sasha the intern then made a reappearance and then so did Brian Lane from Brand New AND BenBigCheeseFries. We were all pounding back tequila shots, playing with monkey. Anytime was ordered... more shots were had.

Brian keepsadiary and Meredith showed up, fresh off the plane from costa rica or some shit like that... they brought a rum cake that was chomped down. More shots were had and were followed by Brooke from White Trash Charms and a friend of hers.

Some more people showed up and at one point, i think two guys were trying to facilitate a lesbian hook up of girlfriends or some shit... i think i might've almost walked in on something and i may have been fondled by one of the girls or both. yes, both. The Cartel guys were gonna come and bailed out... they missed out.

For whatever reason, i decided that at 130 am, it'd be a great idea to dye my hair blond (so i could get to purple easy), and found myself walking around the apt with gunky hair dye in my hair. i washed it out way too soon and now i've got an awesome shade of honey colored hair... i may still dye i tonight.

We watched Entourage. I am still in love with Ari Gold, even if he conformed. I asked Brandon if Jeremy Piven could be one of my celebrity cards, he said ok.

Tomorrow i've got a photoshoot at the Chelsea Hotel ... Vanity Fair is doing a story on me for their music issue and i get to get all dolled up. I can't fucking wait.

SARAH'S GETTING LESS BORING

OK, so I'm working on getting back on path. The path of booze and destruction. I knew I was in a terrible spot when my mom called me up concerned: she heard from my Brother Lawrence that I haven't been out partying a lot lately... actually, not at all. She said that according to him, I dont really leave the house. When your mother calls you up concerned about your lack of partying (the same mother that used to call you every night concerned about how much you party), you know it's time to spend a little extra time cleaning up the toilet cause it's time to make a date with a cheap brown drink named tequila.

So Thursday night, Brandon and I invited the boys from Tokyo Police Club to our apartment to do a little acoustic set for our friends that will soon be up on the Casa De Ultragrrrl series. It was pretty magical and we were mere minutes away from me convincing everyone that we should do a campfire style sing along when we realized it was time to head over to Stolen Transmission. We headed over and watched some band from Long Island play... and then TPC took to the stage. I haven't had so much fun dancing and losing my shit since I saw Franz Ferdinand for the first time at Pianos in like 2003. They were just fun. They were like the Spinto Band with more of an Arcade Fire feel and canadian energy. After their set, Preston Craig DJed a totally Atlanta flavored set that had me booty shakin. I was standing on the balcony for his set and I turned around and saw all the TPC dudes losing their shit. Apparently, the only single member of the band got enough balls to dance. When his friends saw him and were hooting and hollaring, he ran back upstairs and they piled up on each other. Brandon and I then DJed and I played a brand new killers remix. That was fun.

Friday night I went to the South Street Sea Port to check out Tokyo Police Club again with Alex Shenitsky and his wife Tracey. We missed everything but the last two songs and bailed before Ted Leo took the stage because we were all famished and wanted gnocci and to play with Monkey instead. I was exhausted and took an hour nap before I had to wake up again to DJ at around midnightish. Everytime I wake up from an evening nap, the apartment is spotless. I have the best boyfriend in the world, i think... and I need more evening naps!

Anyway, I went to Ruff Club at the Annex and met up with Brooke Dulien from White Trash Charms and Gideon Yago. I greeted Gideon with a solid grab of his balls, which startled him, but honestly not enough. You'd think for someone who has gone to Iraq and traveled around Africa w/Clinton for the past 6 months, that he'd be more on guard and ready to strike anyone who grabbed his crotch... but he was frightenly calm about it and returned my "handshake" with a solid peck on the lips. I'm fairly certain he gave Brandon the same hello.

We sat around and Jared Leto walked by us and went downstairs to the lower level where I was gonna be DJing (the way ruff club works is that each dj does five songs and then they rotate... so you do about 20 songs through out the night... kinda cool). Hoping to catch Jordan Catalano leaning against something, I rushed downstairs and promptly went to the DJ booth so i could get started. Steve iPod immediately hollared "Take a shot of jager from the baby bottle!" and then gave me another bottle of jager to take a shot from, and then gave me about two more shots. By the time I took to the wheels of plastic, I was hammered. I stumbled to Brandon who made sure I started drinking water.

We decided to head over to 151 cause we were all too drunk to be in the crowd where jager was being force fed. I had water and meandered back with my posse to the Annex to continue DJing. I dont remember the rest of this night, but i heard that someone puked on Gideon at somepoint.

Saturday afternoon, Brandon and I met up with my childhood friend Sydney Rose up on the upper east side. Me, her, her boyfriend, Brandon and another childhood friend Catrinel, where headed back to Tenafly to go to a sort of gathering at Allison Mann's house. This was the first time I had gone back to Tenafly in almost a year since my parents had moved. We passed by the property which used to have my house (but now holds a massive bright yellow home with blue trim), and stopped by Sydney's old casa. Joey from the Sugar Hill Gang bought the house from Syd's parents and she became friends of the Gang. We were given a tour of the house, which had just overgone renovations... and it was like, Pimp My House. They really did an amazing job with the already gorgeous place. They turned the two car garage into a movie theater and the one car garage in to a hot tub room. They're gonna turn the gym into a recording studio and will be having some pretty ill parties coming up soon. I just got stoked on the idea that NSync were once there. I <3 JT!

We got to Allison's house and I had one of the best saturday afternoons in ages. I got to see her parents, some old friends, hang out with new boyfriends, introduce my new boyfriend, etc. It was pretty trippy when Alli's dad came up to me and said "i'm doing these patches for a band called my chemical romance. they have huge sales. ever hear of them?"

After that fun time in the Fly we went back home and me, Brandon, Catrinel and Brooke went to see the Sugar Report at Tonic. Then I went to sleep.

This week is VMAs week.
I'm nervous.
BEST. STOP. POP

Finally, Stereogum writes about an artist I've heard of!!!

This rules so much. I love this... apparently, if you speed up Muse 120%, it sounds like Gwen Stefani singing. SOOOOO GREAT!

CUTENESS INSANITY ALERT

I don't even know whose dog that is... I just found it on some random myspace profile and nearly threw my laptop out the window.

TOMORROW!

YOU HEAR IT FIRST

Gideon Yago is gonna be on the Colbert Report tonight. Here's what he wrote in an email to me:

... I don't really make a big deal about shit like this. But this is pretty sweet. Tonight I'm gonna be on the Colbert Report at 11:30 pm getting roasted for my role in low-balling American culture. Should make some sweet TV so set your Tivos accordingly.

CUTE AS A BUTTON!

Jordan has decided to be a part of Monkey's life as much as possible. So, I think, like every intelligent working woman, I will have him be my Manny for whenever Brandon goes on tour... or even when he's home.

Here are the two together lastnight:

UGH! I WANT TO PUNCH HER FACE IN!

By the way, I'm having trouble sleeping cause she insists on sleeping RIGHT ON MY HEAD every night. Not just next to my head, but on it. She'll place her little head and paws on top of me while i sleep... i can't move, i cant shift, i can't spoon. I just lay there, trying to figure out how to get her to shift to the left a bit. Does she bother her daddy? No. Just me. Brussels Griffons rule.

I'm watching The Teen's Choice awards right now with Gurj because KFed is gonna be performing live on TV for the first time ever... and on the red-carpet segment there's a dude who looks like that John Mark Karr dude that is apparently the creep who did in JonBenet.

I'm getting creeped out.

ALIVE WITH THE GLORY OF LOVE

If you want to see something really cool -- and i mean, nipple hardening amazing -- then go to The Killers website at about 9PM EST. Seriously, my nips are getting hard just THINKING about what they're putting up there... GAH!!!!
WOOOOO!

Congrats to my favorite band, Interpol, for signing to Capitol for what speculators are saying is for about $1 Gagiillion. Amazing. I guess Capitol have found the band that will take over Radiohead's spot in everyone's hearts and mind... Lord knows they did that for me already.

NO POST-LABOR DAY FAUX PAS HERE

I fucking love this. How is this band not Brother Lawrence's favorite band?

PS - This rules so hard.
... WISH I WAS

I've had this photo up as my MySpace default for a week, and I've been getting bombarded with emails from people asking me what my necklace says and where I got it.

I got it from Levitcus Jewelry. They've got a bunch of awesome pieces...

I TAKE BACK MY LAST POST

I can't believe i wrote my last post BEFORE i saw this:
DEAR LIFE, WHEN DID I GET OLD?

I've been contemplating my life lately. I look back at my super-old journal entries when i was running around NYC making out with a different boy every night or just with Greg the Boyfriend-who-was-never-my-boyfriend every night, and I think "am i having more fun now?"

I used to go out every night til 4am, wake up at about 10ish, get to work around 11ish (usually, the thing that got me to the office before 11 was getting an Egg McMuffin next door to SPIN's offices), remain at my desk completely lacking any function, while listening to british sea power, franz ferdinand, or interpol all day long.

These days I'm in bed closer to midnight, although, Brandon has been really good about getting me out of the house til later. But when I'm out, I want to be home. It's pointless to be making out with random boys at bars when I've got the best boy I could ever want with me. I used to stay out late chasing the evening, looking for love, looking for fun, looking for adventure, and now that's all at home. I don't really dance much anymore, because I don't have anyone to dance with, and I feel like a horrible dancer these days.

These days I require more sleep. I'm at the office til late and I work my little brain all day long. I want to make my bands successful and don't want to be out every night getting loaded and totally ruining their chances. They're the artist. They're the ones who should be gettig shitfaced.

That said, I'm really trying to find a better balance. Balance my new homebodyness with an attempt to find the wreckless sarah of yesteryear. There's no reason why my alterego, Buckets, can't be brought back to life just cause i've got an animal family at home. I've even stopped listening to so much fucking emo to get to this point. I opened my CD case from a few years ago and have been putting everything in my iPod, trying to get closer to the truth.
